Corporate History

January 1970: Former CEO Koji Maesako established Denka Shoji as a privately owned business, selling electrical insulating materials, heat-resistant wires, and cable accessories, as well as manufacturing mark tubes.

July 1979: The company was reorganized into a corporation with capital of 1 million yen, and the company name was changed to Denka Shoji Co., Ltd., with Koji Maesako as representative director.

December 1979: The manufacturing portion was separated (under the name Denka Electron) and computerized manufacturing of mark tubes began.

July 1985: Capital increased to 10 million yen.

August 1994: At the board meeting, Koji Maesako was appointed Chairman and Yoshiyuki Maesako was appointed Representative Director.

July 1995: The head office was moved from Kanda Awajicho to Kanda Ogawamachi.

August 1996: The manufacturing division was renamed Denka Electron Co., Ltd. and became an independent profit-making company.

April 1997: We applied for our 16th noise-related patent in collaboration with Matsushita Communication Industrial Co., Ltd. This product was used for video-related components at the Nagano Winter Olympics.

January 1998: Denka Electron Co., Ltd. will open a web page on the Internet and disclose information about EMI countermeasure products nationwide.

March 1999: We have applied for eight patents for recycling electrical appliance-related parts.

December 2000: The company's main business is manufacturing, and the company name is unified from Denka Shoji Co., Ltd. to Denka Electron Co., Ltd.

June 2005: The Shenzhen factory and Shenzhen office in China begin full-scale operation.

September 2005: Capital increased to 100 million yen.

May 2006: Established Oi Logistics Center to strengthen logistics.

August 2006: The head office was moved from Kanda Ogawamachi to Ginza.

August 2008: Purchased an injection molding machine (300t class) to further enhance the production of environmentally friendly products.

February 2012: Hachioji Factory and Logistics Center begins operation

November 2019: Opened our own factory, Hachioji Office

December 2019: General Catalog Vol.8 published
